S​tarting with 5 PM, seasoned and newly arrived expats, as well as ​experienced Romanian managers will discuss their approach to successfully running a business in Romania, their understanding of leadership and elaborate on the cross-cultural conflicts they have encountered. 

You will hear about the lessons they've learned when dealing with bureaucracy and state institutions and their tips and tricks for negotiations with local staff, business partners and suppliers, including with local accountants and lawyers. 

The panel will also include a Q&A, so that you can scale up your learning curve based on their concrete experiences in Romania

Dragos Anastasiu is The President of Eurolines Romania Group, which brings together the largest travel agencies network in the country (representing TUI brand in Romania) and one of the leading carrier passengers (Eurolines). Since 2015 he also joined the hospitality industry by purchasing a 4-star resort in Danube Delta - Green Village.Dragos has been involved in several associative activities trying to support the growth of different representative industries through joint projects. He is currently the President of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also a member of the Romanian Business Leaders Foundation. In the past he was the President of the National Association of Travel Agencies (ANAT).

Gustavo Navarro is Managing Director of CRH Romania, a leading local building materials producer. Prior to joining CRH in 2016, he spent over a decade working in the building materials industry in South Eastern Europe and Russia. Also, he has previously held senior positions in multinational corporations in both the packaging and pharmaceuticals industries. Gustavo Navarro graduated from the University of Economics in Buenos Aires, Argentina and also holds an Executive MBA from Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In 2004, Don made his first of 110 trips across the ocean to Romania. He has supported a number charities, businesses and democratic initiatives. Among his business start-ups are PressOne, Sere Transilvania and Colina Farms.
