Marc is a presenter, media broadcaster and established auctioneer, who has worked on events ranging from charity galas to the Olympic Games. He founded 'Purple Carrot Events' based in Bucharest to help deliver English speaking events across Eastern Europe. Marc also presents the ever-popular Big British Bucharest Quiz Night, which attracts more than 200 people every week.

Anca Harasim 

Anca Harasim is the Executive Director of The American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) since 2000 and Vice-President of Harvard Club Romania & Moldova. In 1999, she obtained a Master of Public Administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government – Harvard University, as a Mason Fellow and Associated Kokkalis Fellow. Between 1999-2001 she was a World Bank consultant for Albania’s Poverty Reduction Strategy Program, as well as for the European Commission’s largest PHARE Program in Romania reforming the Local Public Administration. With more than twenty years senior-level experience in managing and developing non-profit organizations, of public policy and program strategic planning, management development and implementation of innovative reform projects in Central & Eastern Europe, she is currently serving on the Boards of many organizations.

Sebastian METZ, General Manager of the German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Romania), has been leading the ongoing activities of the Chamber since 2012. Together with the Board of Directors, Mr. Metz develops the strategies for the enhancements of services offered by AHK Romania and monitors their implementation. Top priorities are the counselling of companies, the assistance of Chamber members as well as increasing the specific activities for representing the interests of the Chamber members.

Volker Moser is a German national who has been living in Romania since 2007. Since 2013, Volker has been splitting his time between Berlin and Bucharest. In Romania, he is a co-founding partner at City Compass Group, which is divided into the following business lines: City Compass Tours & Events, City Compass Intercultural Consulting, City Compass Media & Romania-Insider.com and Expat Fair.

Osnat Peled

BWFR was founded by Osnat Peled, a former Israeli who relocated to Romania in 2005.Osnat, a real soul driven entrepreneur, has 18 years of practical business experience through several companies she has owned & managed successfully during the years. She currently serves as General Manager for Mentor Finance, a multinational private equity investment company. Osnat holds a great belief in women’s endorsement and the importance of dedicating and promoting women from any management position, entrepreneurs, business owners, NGO  leaders, corporate managers, as well any ambitious women who wish to increase their business activity, promote themselves, enlarge their network and progress their know how by having inspiration from other successful businesses and women from all kinds of sectors. This belief has led her to establish the non profit organization - Business Women Forum Romania, which targets all the goals above.

 Isfahan Doekhie

Isfahan Doekhie is a Dutch entrepreneur who has established himself in 2003 in Romania.In 2003 he has started to work at the Athenee Palace Hilton until 2005. In 2005 Isfahan decided to engage on his entrepreneurial adventures. Romania had impressed him because of the many friendly people and the huge business potential Romania had to offer. Together with his partner Violetta Tudorache he has started, today more than 10 years ago, the Real Estate company BLISS Imobiliare. Within BLISS Imobiliare his focus is on expat and office relocations.Being a strong networker and Dutch national he has started in 2009 as, and he still is, Board Member for the Netherlands Romanian Chamber of Commerce where he has an active role in representing the interests of the entrepreneurs and SME’s.In early 2016 he has been appointed to represent the NGO ”Light In To Europe” as Ambassador to raise more awareness and visibility for their cause helping visually impaired with a guide dogs program.Being actively involved in expat relocations and having met many expats during their first encounters Isfahan will be able to share his 10 plus years’ experiences regarding the Culture shock “Romania”

Terry O'Donnell Parsons 

Terry has lived in Bucharest for three and a half years. Before coming to Romania she lived in the USA and Thailand. As a "trailing spouse" and mother of 5 (who have all been born in different places), she has become something of a professional volunteer. This is her second year as President of IWA, the International Women's Association of Bucharest.

Valentina Simbotin

Valentina holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Banking and a Master Degree in the Psychology of Human Resources. She had been living in France for 7 years and upon her return to Romania she worked in the foreign services and diplomacy field for 2 years. Due to the fact that she wanted to apply all her international experience she joined the first private healthcare multidisciplinary provider in Romania. For 17 years now, she has been actively participating, with different corporations, on positively changing the Romanian healthcare system. Valentina joined MSI Romania 4 years ago and since then she has been working on empowering Romanian women on saying yes to children by choice not by chance, extending awareness on contraception and reproductive healthcare. Her expertise is on people management, healthcare and insurance operations, in and out-patient optimisation, public healthcare quality control, new product development, organizational change and development. She is passionate about business networking, education, travel, politics and multicultural events.
